Whatever Wednesday: Anniversaries

Hello, Posse!

Today is a short and sweet reminder that today is the last day to sign up for our mailing list/newsletter and get your free books on Christmas Eve. Spread the word yo your friends can get the free books too. The puzzle book ended up being more than 130 page filled with word searches, crossword puzzles, cryptograms, mazes, trivia, and recipes from the 1800s. I went a little crazy. LOL I am writing the short story tomorrow. It's already all in my head so I just have to write it out. The book is all formatted and set up ready to go so all I have left to do is drop in the text.

Today, I am taking the rest of the day off to spend with Pedro. It is our 8th wedding anniversary. The geek in me kind of loves that our anniversary is a palindrome 12/22/21. We were married eight years ago today in The Old Cowtown Museum (<--- click to check out their website) in Wichita, Kansas. The day before our wedding, Kansas had the worst snowstorm it had seen in 10 years. Roads were packed with snow and the Cowtown Museum was bogged down with snow as well. The AMAZING volunteers who run the place, got out and shoveled paths through the town so we could get around. I can never say enough nice things about the people there! At least the snow made for gorgeous wedding photos thanks to our photographer, Vada Snider (<--- click to for website). She was actually my photo journalism teacher at Wichita State University. She drove in from another town in that mess to make sure we had amazing weddings photos!

FYI, if you need a venue for any kind of large (or small) event, call The Old Cowtown Museum and then call Vada for photos!

I will be sending out the free books on Friday instead of the usual Friday Funnies blog. I plan to spend the rest of this week enjoying time with my family. I hope all of you get to do the same.

Merry Christmas!

Have a great week, Posse!

Dianne
