Monday Movie Madness: Netflix Edition

Hello Posse!

I hope everyone had a fantastic weekend. Thursday was P.R.’s birthday so we spend the weekend just hanging out together and quietly celebrating. We watched some TV and played way too many hours of Fortnight. Though I did finally take 2nd place a few times, one day I will get first!

This is the first blog I will try to write from the app on my tablet. I have been ordered to bed as I am on day five of a migraine and it does start to take a toll on me after so many days. But I wasn’t about to skip sharing this blog when I have been doing so well keeping up with them, though I don’t plan to go as in depth as I usually do.

Today, I want to share a limited series from Netflix called, Godless. This series had seven episodes and aired exclusively on Netflix in November, 2017. Godless had an impressive lineup of talent including: Jeff Daniels, Sam Waterston, Jack O’Connell, Michelle Dockery, Merritt Wever, and Thomas Brodie-Sangster among others.

This series received numerous award nominations for acting and production with Jeff Daniels and Merritt Wever winning for Best Supporting Actor/Actress in a Limited Series or Movie and Carlos Rafael Rivera winning for Outstanding Original Main Title Theme Music. The Series was also named one of the years ten best by the Washington Post and Vanity Fair.

I am going to cut this short as I cannot take looking at the computer screen much longer. Be warned, this show does deal with some disturbing subject matter but is in keeping with some of the true crimes and medical treatments during this time period.

Enjoy!

Stephen
