Hello My Happy People,
Being a huge fan of both cozy mysteries and dogs, I was thrilled to chat with award-winning dog themed cozy mystery author, C.B. Wilson. As with many authors, her passion for writing was kindled at a young age. She enjoyed reading Nancy Drew books but her desire for more satisfying endings led her to begin writing her own. As an adult, C.B. was able to combine her love for writing mysteries and helping dogs with the creation of her Barkview Mysteries.
One of the truly great and unique aspects of this book series is that each Barkview adventure features a different dog breed. While reading a great mystery, you will also learn the traits, personality, exercise and grooming needs, as well as health issues for the breed featured in that book. If you are trying to find the dog breed that is the right fit for you and your family, The Barkview Mysteries is an entertaining way to figure that out. C.B.’s believes that every animal deserves a forever home and to help make that happen, she often has adoptable dogs at her appearances.
C.B. currently resides in Peoria, AZ, where she writes and is and avid pickleball player. Personally, I have never even seen the game played and was grateful to C.B. for explaining the game to me during the five quick questions segment. C.B. is a graduate of the Gemological Institute of America and enjoys sharing her passion for gems in her mysteries.
Be sure to follow her on all of her social media so you never miss a new release. But for now, go listen to today's podcast and learn more about the author and her work.
Enjoy,
Dianne
