Book Banter Magazine is the companion publication to
Book Banter with Dianne Burckhardt - Book Talk Podcast.
This magazine features authors from our podcast and publishing industry professionals. It is published every other month beginning in February to coincide with the start of the new podcast season with a special December issue featuring our Year End Holiday Book Buying Guide. This special issue is published earlier than regular issues for holiday shopping. The buying guide features every author who has been on the podcast for the current season.

This is the last issue of Book Banter Magazine we will publish. If you purchased a PDf issue of a magazine, be sure to download your copy before October 2025. At that time, all issues of Book Banter Magazine will be no longer be available when our host site subscription expires.

Dianne Burckhardt is the founder of Book Banter Productions as well as the host of Book Banter with Dianne Burckhardt - Book Talk Podcast. She created Book Banter Magazine in 2023 as a print companion to her podcast, which is going to be going into its fourth season in 2025.

Pedro R. Burckhardt
You have known him for a while as the Executive Producer behind Book Banter with Dianne Burckhardt - Book Talk Podcast (2023), but with the creation of Book Banter Magazine and Book Banter Productions, Pedro has taken on additional responsibilities. He is now the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for Book Banter Productions (2024) and he has also joined the Book Banter Magazine editorial staff as our IT reporter (2024). As new and innovative technologies are being used in publishing, it only seems logical to have someone who can help us report on the benefits and pitfalls of navigating this new technological landscape. Pedro has more than 25 years experience in IT development and consulting, holds four IT related degrees, and numerous certifications in a wide variety of IT related specialties.

Maria joined Book Banter Magazine in July 2024. She is a writer and editor with a knack for producing compelling, powerful, and thought-provoking content. With experience in feature article writing and copy editing, she delivers succinct content and maintains consistency with the client’s brand voice. She is passionate about using her skills to promote the agenda of DEI, uplift underrepresented communities, and connect with media audiences through empathic storytelling!

Britta Franceschi
Britta was brought on board in September 2024 to help with the Oct/Nov issue of Book Banter Magazine. She is a line and copy editor, writer, and book reviewer. She loves to help fiction and narrative nonfiction authors smooth and polish their writing to keep readers coming back for more. She writes literary criticism, book reviews, and blog articles and is currently working on several creative writing projects. Britta is a fan of classic and gothic literature, but reads across a wide variety of genres. She loves language and writing, and thoroughly enjoys helping others to find joy in them as well.
